CUSTODIAN/PORTER
Homes for the Homeless, Inc.

(HFH) is seeking
Custodians/Porters to join our team to ensure our families have a clean and safe environment to temporarily call home.

This position is part-time, Monday - Friday 1 PM-5 PM.
ABOUT HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS, INC.-
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs general cleaning and custodial duties.
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and common office areas.
Ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are restocked.
Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
Wash glass partitions, doors and mirrors.
Dust and disinfect furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with custodial work.
Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
Prolonged periods of standing.
Must lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift to 60 pounds at a time.
