We are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with proven leadership skills to manage the day to day operations of Facilities Maintenance and staff.

This will involve providing coordinating with vendors to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance for facility-related issues and utility systems such as air compressors, back-up generators, HVAC and refrigeration equipment, and DI water systems, centrifuges, etc.

The manager will interact with multiple fucntions within the broader organization to ensure compliance with Company directives, report on facility expenses, purchasing and receiving, and help in on-boarding new hires.

As a Facilities Manager, you will manage the assignment and approvals of all work orders and preventive maintenance associated with facility related equipment along with ensuring compliance of the CAL/PM system.


Facilities Manager - Facility Management (Operations/Manufacturing/Healthcare)

Responsibilities:


Key Accountabilities:


  • Provide oversight and support for facility and utility system projects.
  • Oversee contractors involved with repairs or projects to ensure they are meeting Immucor's expectations with regard to quality of workmanship, safety, etc., along with ensuring compliance to company's Contractor Safety Policy.
  • Manage the preventive maintenance and ondemand repair programs for all facility and utility equipment (this includes, but is not limited to air compressors, steam generators, backup generators, HVAC and refrigeration equipment, and DI water systems) ensuring timely resolution and compliance with Immucor's procedures and expectations.
  • Oversee the cleaning contractors ensuring timely resolution of any issues associated with the general upkeep of the facility.
  • Liason with landlord regarding any facility issues.
  • Ensure that documentation for maintenance actions taken is in compliance with departmental standard operating procedures
  • Communicate equipment and facility issues with site personnel in regards to facility maintenance actions.
  • Responsible for managing spare parts inventory for facility and utility equipment and systems.
  • Responsible for the oversight, management and documentation of the facility pest control program.
  • Responsible for the security upkeep of the facility.
  • Keep a detail recorder on all financial transactions and credit card purchases.
  • Lead from an expectation that ensures Quality, Compliance and Safety are core values. These must be given in every aspect of operations from research and development requirements to maintaining the facility.
  • Ensure facility runs consistently within compliance of government agency regulations and defined Immucor SOPs. Develop a culture that is positive and promotes engagement while maintaining an appropriate balance with respect to accountability.
  • Establish strong working partnerships based on commitment to teamwork and mutual accountability to ensure alignment on equipment availability in support of production goals with the facility.
  • Make recommendations for efficiency improvements, equipment purchases, and facility upgrades.
  • Provide recommendations for budget/resource allocation for largescale project implementations.
  • Responsible for purchases and documentation requirements on the procurement of supplies and materials necessary to run the site.
  • Liason with the central Purchasing, and Warehousing on their documentation needs. (MSS's, PR's and delivery documents).
  • Liason with Human Resources to ensure that all documentation of new hires is checked, and help in onboarding.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Associate's degree in related field; Bachelor's degree, _preferred _
  • Previous management experience in the field
  • Experience working with DI water system is a plus
  • Ability to operate successfully within a fastpaced environment
