Our client, a private business management firm and leader in their industry is seeking a hands-on and highly dedicated Manager of Portfolio Operations / Project Manager.
This position will sit within the business engine of progress where you will effectively work with an elite group and portfolio of brands under management within consumer goods, fashion, skincare, and sports/athletics to drive the concepts from early stage creation to late stage execution.
The Manager of Portfolio Operations / Project Manager will serve as a pivotal liaison overseeing the seamless execution of objectives across our portfolio of business endeavors and strategic partnerships.
From conception to finalization, the Manager will play a vital role in directing and managing the strategic initiatives encompassing our diverse array of projects and partnerships.
You will be a main point of contact helping to drive positive relationships across extended teams inside and outside of our organization and collaborate effectively with numerous stakeholders.
This role demands exceptional project management skills, a keen eye for strategic planning and problem solving, and a proactive approach to navigating complex business challenges.
The right individual is an expert communicator who excels in transforming ambiguity into actionable plans, navigating through uncertainty to achieve clarity, and ultimately taking charge of filling the gaps to ensure project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead the project management efforts from inception to completion, ensuring the alignment of goals, objectives, and timelines with organizational strategies.
Strategic Initiatives:
Spearhead strategic initiatives across the project portfolio, collaborating with various teams to drive innovative solutions and achieve business objectives.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating effective communication, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on project progress.
Workflow Management:
Develop and implement efficient workflow strategies to optimize productivity and ensure seamless coordination among cross-functional teams.
Contract Management:
Coordinate the negotiation, review, and execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and business requirements.
Problem Solving:
Proactively identify and address challenges, leveraging a problem-solving mentality to overcome obstacles and drive project success.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and consensus-building to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in project or portfolio management or strategic partnerships, preferably in a business-to-business environment.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of navigating challenges and implementing effective solutions.
Strategic mindset, capable of aligning project objectives with broader organizational goals.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail.

This position requires a candidate to be based in the greater Los Angeles Area. Candidates needing to relocate will not be considered.
Salary Range:
DOE, $125,000 - $135,000 plus strong benefits package
Location:
Onsite in Beverly Hills 4x a week
