Data Quality Development Manager (hybrid)


Tandigm Health, a transformational leader in population health management, is looking for a Data Quality Development Manager in the greater Philadelphia area.

Essential Functions

  • Define Data Quality Program Structure, to include Systems, types of data quality checks, data assets and test coverage along with the applicable metrics that help track the progress towards the end state data quality
  • Work with business to document and categorize data quality checks
  • Implement data quality checks using SQL and Python
  • Monitor data quality status and handle data quality issues as they occur
  • Direct the implementation of Tandigm's Data Quality Dashboard as a tool offered to the business partners to help them gauge the current status of their data
  • Coordinate a team of 2 Data Quality engineers and participate hands on in the implementation efforts
  • Prepare materials and present the Data Quality status to the Data Quality stakeholders.
  • Identify technical and process solutions that would expedite the implementation of the Data Quality Program
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a team of Data Quality engineers including performance management.
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully negotiate with colleagues with different skills and levels within the organization.
  • Comply with HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations when using and reporting PHI (Protected Health Information).
  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate Tandigm Health's commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
  • Uses, protects, and discloses Tandigm's patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards and protects Tandigm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.
  • Adheres to and responsible to abide by all information security policies, processes, and/or activities.
  • Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization to management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics or related field

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 4+ years of experience with Data Quality/Quality Assurance
  • Proficiency with authoring Quality Assurance / Data Quality strategies and plans
  • 4+ years of experience with test automation
  • 2+ years of experience with developing Power BI Reports
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL Server, Salesforce and Snowflake
  • 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements
  • 3+ years of experience leading small to medium projects
  • Proven experience within the Health Insurance data domain
  • Experience in managing and coordinating data quality engineering teams
  • Proven experience in Scrum Agile
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
