Summary of Position
The Assembly and Fulfillment Team Leader is responsible for monitoring, organizing, and coaching the team on a day-to-day basis, implementation and problem-solving to ensure their team achieves their daily goals in providing custodial services to our clients.
Role and Responsibilities
- Formulates work assignments for each building and ensures all employees are properly trained for these assignments.
- Counsel employees on appropriate interpersonal communication, problem solving, and other job maintenance skills.
- Obtain, pick up and deliver material and ensure all employees under their supervision have proper equipment and supplies to perform their duties.
- Monitor staff to ensure safety procedures and department policies are followed.
- Inspect the work of all employees and fill out inspection reports nightly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisor responsibilities over the Assembly & Fulfillment team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1 year of warehouse and/or assembly work
- Flexible, adaptable and embraces change.
- Creative and flexible problem solving; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver license and proof of insurance with ability to various worksites.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a nonclimatecontrolled environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
- The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to operate a pallet jack.
