    **Responsibilities****:**

    Overseeing the day-to-day branch operations, including supervision of staff

    Process consumer loans

    Open new accounts

    All aspects of member service including processing teller transactions.

    Cross-service and provide information on credit union products and services, answer questions regarding credit union policies and procedures.

    Coaching staff to provide appropriate financial products and services to membership.

    The successful candidate will promote positive member relations by defining member needs along with excellent member service and communication.

    Possess a high level of knowledge and experience with operations, regulation compliance and proper cash controls.

    Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work effectively with current and potential SEG groups and across all departments within the credit union. Have the ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. When needed, must be able to travel to other branch locations within the Portland metro area.

    **Qualifications:**

    Minimum of two years as a Branch Manager OR three years as an Assistant Branch Manager in a credit union or other financial institution.

    Knowledge of consumer loan policy, credit granting criteria, interest rate computations and loan documentation necessary for each type of loan, is required.
