Description

• Generation, management and oversight of Business Pursuits.
• Development and execution of strategies to expand the company's presence and business opportunities in the aerospace market.
• Collaborate closely with the company's top management.
• Interactions with customers and stakeholders to identify and create opportunities and strengthen business relationships with our portfolio of customers and develop relationships with new clients as they emerge.
• Participation in industry trade shows and regular travel is required.
• Develop, execute, and manage strategies.
• Create and manage proposals and customer negotiations.
• Conduct competitive analysis.
• Identify potential industry teammates.
• Participate in technical meetings for internal and external representatives to develop strategies and manage pursuits.
• Collaborate with engineering, technology, and senior management.

• Understanding of the US & International aerospace industry
• Networking including leadership level in the aerospace industry
• Ability to adapt to NSS' business culture with focus on important values such as honesty, transparency, responsiveness, & customer support
• Be extrovert, diplomatic, good listener, good presenter/promoter
• Possessing the technical ability to learn NSS' products and technology.

• 10+ years of experience in business development
• 10+ years of experience within aerospace and/or defense industry
• BS in Engineering is preferred.
