Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring all products for Sales Orders are present and accounted for in full for shipping prior to truck departure
  • Verify quantities of all products match up to the SO, Pack List, and BOL
  • Making sure all product physically gets loaded on the truck with appropriate labeling for it's intended destination and nothing is left behind
  • Responsible for staging parts in the shipping area and communicating with the production Supervisors, Sales, Logistics and the shipping team to ensure continuity of what items are going out on each load.
  • Communicates all part shortages to the appropriate department supervisor a day prior to shipment and responsible for communicating this through the organization.
  • Works directly with supervisors and sales to help expedite parts through the shop for hot orders and customer date changes
  • Helps shipping communicate load consolidation efforts and works directly with department supervisors to pull in what is needed.
  • Ensuring all loads are shipped in compliance with all DOT and ATF standards.
  • Verifies all components are present on assemblies and there are no missing components. Ensures over pack kits are complete with the proper items in them prior to packaging
  • Notifies Purchasing and or manufacturing immediately of any component shortages on purchased and manufactured items
  • Responsible for the flow of communication from shipping request until delivery to its final destination with the customer.
  • All other duties as signed by your direct supervisor

Other Responsibilities:


  • Immediately communicates any potential delivery delays or shortages to the Sales and Production team
  • Ensures all data is entered in an accurate and timely fashion into the ERP system. Which includes shipping destination to customer wellsite locations and verifying all freight costs are captured within 24 hours of shipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining all close out documentation for shipments. This includes but is not limited to, accurate pack list and BOL are filled out correctly and signed for and saved for POD.
  • Coordinates all shipments with the shipping team to ensure products are picked up, and delivered on time to the proper location. THIs includes stock for internal warehouses, customers shop, and direct to wellsite location.
  • Must have a very flexible schedule including evening and weekends to ensure all shipments ship out as planned. G&H is a 24/7 shipping operation. If no one else is available to come and load a truck that needs to ship out, this position is responsible to come in a cover it.
  • Responsible for ensuring product labeling and traceability accuracy.

Requirements:

1.) Ability to multitask and work well under pressure of deadlines

2.) Strong communication skills

3.) 3 Years experience working in an ERP system

4.) 5 Years experience in Shipping and Logistics working for a company who manufactures and ships their own product direct to customer destinations utilizing their own trucks.

5.) Strong Microsoft Suite skills will an emphasis on Outlook and Excel.

6.) 2 Years experience operating a sit-down forklift and loading flatbed trailers.

7.) Experience shipping Hazmat products a plus.

8.) Ability to work as a team or independently.

9.) Experience developing and being a champion of new processes to eliminate repeat failures.

10.) Ability to train and motivate other team members.
