    Description
    Talentbridge is looking for an industrial Engineer for a local team in the midst of big growth. This individual will be. We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation within the manufacturing sector, with a strong background in modifying or programming PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, particularly with expertise in Allen Bradley platforms.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to improve our manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities


    Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes, including but not limited to PLC programming, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.

    Modify existing PLC programs to enhance functionality, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with new equipment or processes.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and engineering to identify automation opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on the use and maintenance of automation equipment and systems.

    Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in industrial automation, and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance productivity and competitiveness.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
    Proven experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on PLC programming and modification.
    Strong proficiency in programming PLC systems, particularly with Allen Bradley platforms (Rockwell Automation).
    Experience with HMI development, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
    Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and automation principles, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify optimization opportunities.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset towards troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
    Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all aspects of automation design and implementation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelors egree in Engineering or related field.
    Certification in PLC programming or industrial automation technologies.
    Experience with other PLC platforms such as Alllen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Schneider Electric.
    Familiarity with robotics, motion control systems, and advanced automation technologies.
    Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
