Automation Technician for West Carrollton To support our Business Unit Care Chemicals at our West Carrollton location, we are currently seeking a skilled technician to join our team.

This position will be responsible for maintaining our equipment used in the production of additives for the petroleum industry.

Our West Carrollton location, part of the Ruhrchemie plant, is a small but highly specialized site within Clariant where various additives are produced using technically interesting polymerization processes.

We are looking for an Automation Technician to join our team as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:
Taking responsibility for the CAE tool Prodok Independently conducting basic and detailed engineering tasks Creating measurement point, wiring, cable, and terminal plans, as well as parts lists Updating and managing measurement points in the P&ID diagram Specifying electrical, measurement, and automation devices Conducting calculations and sizing for SIL and Ex loops Contributing to the standardization of documentation and technology Supporting project execution Your profile: Completed vocational training in the field of electrical, measurement, and control technology, with additional training as a technician or equivalent qualification High level of initiative and structured work approach Several years of experience in electrical, measurement, and control planning, preferably in the chemical industry Knowledge of SIL loop calculations is desirable Proficient in using electrical, measurement, and control planning tools such as Prodok We offer: As an Automation Technician at Clariant West Carrollton, you will be joining a top employer that offers the following benefits: Competitive salary Permanent employment contract An interesting and
