Street Exeter is looking for a General Manager to join our team Street is a eclectic, casual restaurant and cocktail lounge that satisfies both your hunger and wanderlust.

• Establish a strong leadership presence in the restaurant
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with the owner, chef, staff, purveyors, etc.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to provide our guests with the best possible experience while maintaining the quality of food, beverage, and service
• Cultivate a strong FOH staff (recruitment, training, addressing issues, disciplinary action, etc.)
• Set high standards for service, professionalism, attitude, and respect amongst team
• Perform opening and closing duties of the restaurant (menu & computer updates, end of night reports, etc.,)
• Oversee all restaurant operations during service (POS system maintenance, staff performance, guest satisfaction, etc.)
• Weekly inventories and ordering
• Coordinate monthly schedule
• Attend weekly manager meetings

• Minimum 2 years management in restaurant/hospitality setting required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
• Flexible schedule (Nights and weekends a must) required
• Knowledge of food and wine/beverage required
• Strong computer skills required
• POS back end system knowledge preferred
• Experience in a high volume setting preferred
• Fine Dining experience preferred
• Strong hosting ability a plus
