General Cleaner Healthcare Facility

Job responsibilities:

General cleaning/disinfection e.g., dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping
Detail cleaning/disinfection e.g., corners and edges, door jambs and hard to reach surfaces
Sterile cleaning/disinfection e.g., procedure rooms, preop, and post op
Manage and keep supply inventories e.g., stocking, and replenishing paper, plastic and soap/ hand sanitizer cartridges and sharps containers as needed
Appropriately manages waste streams (waste, soiled, biohazardous, etc.)
Maintain a safe work environment for employees and visitors
Coordinate activities between the customers and the company
Complete other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

Skills and Abilities_
Must be 18 years or older
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to work with little supervision
Ability to work in occupied areas like patient rooms and nurse stations
Strong detail orientation
Customeroriented and friendly
Education and Experience_
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements_
Stand and walk for long periods of time
Frequent bending and twisting
Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Vonachen Group is looking to hire a General Cleaner in Evergreen Park, IL.

The General Cleaner keeps and maintains the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the healthcare facility. Specifically, they will clean sterile areas, patient rooms, patient support areas, and non-patient areas following state and federal guidelines.

This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
