Job Summary:


Duties:


  • Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
  • Help manage and train housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper levels are maintained
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally

Skills:


  • Experience in hotel or hospitality industry
  • Local 6 Union experience
  • Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques
  • Knowledge of floor care methods and equipment
  • Strong background in housekeeping management
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (Spanish is a big plus)
  • Understanding of custodial practices

Pay:
$70, $72,000.00 per year
