Job Summary:
Duties:
- Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
- Help manage and train housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper levels are maintained
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
Skills:
- Experience in hotel or hospitality industry
- Local 6 Union experience
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of floor care methods and equipment
- Strong background in housekeeping management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (Spanish is a big plus)
- Understanding of custodial practices
Pay:
$70, $72,000.00 per year
