**Outcome of the Role**
The Vision Lab Team Leader role is to perform the full range of Lab Technician functions, as well as assist the Lab Manager with the overall production operations of the lab.

Ensure lab teammates understand how what they do daily impacts the Virtuous Cycle and our mission
Assist manager in ensuring lab is performing on key growth drivers including Quality, Lead Time, having sufficient staff in place, and creating word-of-mouth referrals through excellent level of service
Lead vision lab team to ensure the flow of product through the lab
**Patient First *-*** Evaluating our level of service and quality to the people we serve, putting whats best for our patients above all else.
Closely monitor flow of product through the lab and continually identify opportunities to improve the process in ways that do not negatively impact patient care (assisting in production, coaching of teammates to adjust flow to maintain WIP / goal)
Establish clear expectations for teammates around desired patient experience
Respond promptly to practice needs
Ensure all work is completed with an eye on quality to provide our Little Bosses with the best eyewear possible (assist with troubleshooting breakages / coaching teammates to identify opportunities for minimizing breakages)
