    JOB SUMMARY
    The production supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the production operations department to ensure productivity, safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are met. They are responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing work efforts in line with company policies and procedures.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Direct, coordinate, and monitor daily activities and performance to deliver high productivity, quality, and customer service.
    • Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
    • Take timely corrective action following company policy.
    • Engage employees through meetings, idea-sharing, and addressing concerns.
    • Participate in staff evaluations, corrective actions, and training.
    • Evaluate business demand and distribute work assignments accordingly.
    • Ensure production goals, quality, and cost objectives are met.
    • Maintain inventory levels and implement lean principles.
    • Provide a safe work environment through safety training and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing.
    • Professional Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

    Physical Demand:
    • Requirements include sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
    • Visual abilities needed for the job include close vision and depth perception.

    Work Environment:
    • Involves manufacturing and warehouse environments with exposure to various conditions.
    • May require the use of equipment and personal protective gear.
    • Travel may be necessary, and shift work might be involved.
