- Direct and coordinate the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all revenues and costs incurred are properly recorded and financials are issued for all companies in a timely manner.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial and regulatory reporting and general ledger structure to maximize the facilitation of current and future reporting requirements. Perform appropriate analysis of all general ledger accounts and financial statements and communicate to management.
- Ensure that accounts payable are processed timely and accurately.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. Manage corporate documents that facilitate audits and due diligence.
- Ensure that reconciliations are prepared accurately and timely, including all cash accounts.
- You must be willing and able to travel to locales other than the normal location for the position, including overnight trips as appropriate for your job responsibilities.
- Must possess a valid Drivers License and have access to a reliable vehicle.

- Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Management, Accounting, or a related field. Financial institution experience a plus.

About The Position:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for organizing, directing and leading the daily operations of the accounting functions. They ensure that accounting and financial procedures are aligned to generally accepted accounting principles. They work with a broad spectrum of internal and external parties to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial and operational metrics for Greater Nevada Credit Union, Greater Nevada Mortgage, Greater Commercial Lending and Greater Nevada Insurance.
