1099 CONTRACTED POSITION

1099 CONTRACTED POSITION

Duties-(BILINGUAL-FLUENT ENGLISH/SPANISH)

• Provide case management services to individuals and families in need
• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop appropriate service plans
• Collaborate with clients to set goals and monitor progress towards achieving them
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services
• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or difficult situations
• Advocate for clients' rights and ensure they receive necessary services and benefits
• Coordinate with other professionals, such as social workers, healthcare providers, and educators, to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and uptodate case records
• Provide Skills Training to students (referred by their HISD school officialson campus) 2Xs weekly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field (preferrednot requiredcan be substituted by experience)
• Previous experience in case management or a related field (required)
• Knowledge of social service programs, such as housing programs, Medicaid, childcare assistance, and student advocacy, etc.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health issues and crisis management techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
