About the American College of Surgeons

  • The American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) aims to develop and implement programs that support injury prevention and ensure optimal patient outcomes across the continuum of care. This role falls within the Trauma Quality Programs (TQP). These programs set the standards for optimal care of the injured patient, send auditors to ensure that hospitals are meeting those standards, provide hospitals with data reports on patient outcomes, and tools to improve clinical care._

Summary:


This exempt position will report to the Manager, Trauma Quality Programs Operations in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care.


It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide front line customer support for TQP participants and prospective customers, coordinate on boarding services to new customers, and maintain participant resources.

Required Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.

Project management training and/or project coordination experience is a plus.
At least 1-2+ years of similar or related professional experience is required.
Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Tech savvy with the ability to learn new software (such as Aptify, Ironclad contracting software, and annual conference software).
