Description

What a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for Special Machinery at MD does

In your role, you are responsible for the conception and design of complex automation solutions for systems and machinery
You create CAD models (3D) and drawings in SolidWorks within the project framework and also contribute to the creation of specifications
Each design is unique: your goal is to drive, develop, and implement innovations
In addition, it is part of your responsibilities to support the creation of CE conformity assessments
You work closely with the internal departments of production and quality assurance

The Tool Design Team

The 20-member team is responsible for the conception and development of automation solutions in the field of cable assembly. We work closely with our hardware planning, production, and software programming departments.

You are a good fit for us if you

have successfully completed a degree in engineering with a focus on design, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable education
enjoy designing tools, systems, and machinery
have experience in the field of automation technology and special machinery
have excellent CAD skills (preferably in SolidWorks) and knowledge of MS
