    Skilled Nursing Facility Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

    Location: Maybrook, NY

    Pay: $24 per hour

    Shifts: Evening/night shifts available (3pm-11p, 11pm-7am), 1 weekend per month

    Facility Type: Skilled Nursing


    We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Maybrook, NY. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and providing high-quality care to our residents.


    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements:

    • Valid New York CNA certification
    • Ability to work evening/night shifts 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
    • Compassionate and patient demeanor
    • Ability to work well as part of a team
    • New grads welcomed
    • Must work 1 weekend a month


    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

    • Basic Nursing Skills
      • Taking and recording vital signs
      • Measuring and recording height and weight
      • Caring for the resident's environment
      • Recognizing abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor
    • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as:
      • Bathing
      • Grooming
      • Dressing
      • Toileting
      • Skin care
      • Ambulation
    • Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
    • Serving meals and helping residents with eating as needed
      • Assisting with eating and hydration
      • Proper feeding techniques
    • Turning and repositioning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
    • Assisting with transferring residents using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts
    • Documenting daily care provided to residents in electronic medical records


    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Benefits:
