immediate opening in the Bayonne area for a full-time experienced Office Supervisor to support our warehouse operation. Monday through Friday day shift.

How you will contribute to the success of the company and grow your career:

• Directs and manages office staff to complete office duties in an efficient and professional way and motivates employees to ensure that accuracy and quality standards are met.
• Monitors productivity of the team and works with Warehouse Manager to adhere to budgetary guidelines, and works to achieve operational goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Responsible for the daily scheduling of the office staff to ensure proper staffing to complete shipping and receiving documentation in a productive and cost efficient manner.
• Ensures quality service is provided to customers and ensures prompt followthrough on customer correspondences, complaints and inquiries related to the shipment of merchandise and stockonhand.
• Develops and implements modifications and innovations to improve the quality of service to clients. Adheres to budget requirements and works toward obtaining objectives and company goals.
• Responsible for employee development, which includes training, coaching, and counseling. Provides details to Warehouse Manager for the disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; ensures a productive work climate in the office.
• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions and services; manages monetary assets and other resources to optimize cost effectiveness.
• Ensures that accurate attendance/PTO records and scheduling are maintained.
• Assists Warehouse Manager in documentation related to site compliance and regulations concerning ISO, OSHA, Responsible Care, State, and Local authorities.
• Adhere to the site's quality and safety standards.

What you need to excel:

• Minimum of 2 years working in a warehouse or equivalent environment preferred.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required familiarity with Microsoft Office programs preferred.
• Prior data entry experience.
• Capable of making sound judgment calls independently.
• Motivated to perform daily tasks without prompting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and contract information.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to successfully pass background check and drug screening.
