    We are looking for the boldest and most innovative individual to tackle the most important job in the world - TEACHING

    Nysmith School is seeking committed, innovative, creative teachers with a passion for teaching students who are intellectually curious and gifted.

    Salary: $60,00.00

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Specialized knowledge and/or experience in the subject area.
    • Ability to promote development of student's physical attributes and social skills
    • Instructs indoor and outdoor games
    • Ability to instructs individuals or groups in calisthenics or other exercises
    • Demonstrate use of gym apparatus and equipment
    • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgment, and tact.
    • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with the Lead Teacher, students, and parents.
    • Ability to utilize a variety of instructional materials and available multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning and integrate concepts.
    • Ability to speak English fluently and use English in a grammatically correct fashion.
    • Ability to remain flexible and to respond to schedule changes or unexpected task assignments with a calm demeanor.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to impart knowledge to students and information to parents and staff.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Google classroom and school database to input grades. Must be able to use, or learn to use, a classroom smartboard.
    • Ability to pass background check
