Job purpose

Duties and responsibilities

Reception and Customer Service Duties:

Kennel Attendant Duties:
*Feed and medicate dogs accurately *Monitor behaviors of the dogs in play group for any inappropriate or unusual behaviors and report to a superior *Interact with the dogs in a fun and friendly manner while maintaining pack stability and command *Take care of any "stray" dogs that come in through the rescue *Complete Training program *This position will be for Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM and 8AM-4PM part time position with some 6AM-2PM & 2PM-9PM Saturdays & Sunday required.


Cleaning Duties:
*Sweep, mop and dust lobby throughout the day to maintain a clean and welcoming environment *Maintain a clean and organized work environment *Shovel, sweep and clean up outside as needed throughout the day *Dust and sanitize reception counter and desk at end of the night *Help complete dirty dishes *Let dogs out to potty and for walks as needed *Feed and medicate dogs accurately as needed *This position will be for 6AM-2PM and 2PM-9PM part time position with some Saturdays required


Qualifications

Qualifications include:
*High School Diploma or GED *Experience working in customer service is preferred *Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer *Must be friendly and professional *Great multitasking skills *Must be avalible for
Holidays and
weekends
On-Call Required

Working conditions
Position requires employee to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Working in all types of weather is a possibility so an employee should be able to withstand the elements.

Customer service is very important but occasionally an employee will need to handle difficult clients or situations in a professional manner.

Working with animals can get a little loud and stressful so patience is required to be able to complete tasks accurately during a shift.

Available shifts and compensation:
We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $ $15.00/hour.
