    Position:
    LOCUM - OB/GYN Unit:Obstretrics/GynecologyFacility:Michigan

    Unit Specific Info:

    Hospital is in need of an OB/GYN locum to provide 24 hour call coverage for the hospital once a month for a 7-10 day stretch (date are flexible around provider's availability)Level 3 facility with a Level 1 nursery and they utilize Cerner PowerChart.

    The town has an old world charm with small local shops and restaurants.

    Outdoor enthusiast will love snowmobiling, skiing whether cross country or downhill in close prolixity, as well as spring and summer activities such as golf, canoeing, hiking, etc.


    Job Description:

    • They have had a provider leave because he and his wife wanted to be closer to their children/grandchildren and have yet to find a perm replacement.
    -on call (not in-house) during the evening and weekend hours.
    • The mid wife shares in the call rotation with a physician on 2nd call.
    She would not be on call during locum coverage. Board Certification -RequiredMI License at time of submission -RequiredACLS & NRP
    • Required
    Assignment Duration:7-10 days stretch per monthNumber of Openings:1Shift:24 Hour Hospital Call, 8a-8a

    On Call Requirements:24 Hour Call

    State License Requirements:
    MI

    Certification Requirements:
    ACLS, NRP, Board Certified Only Assistance with credentialing provided and emergency credentials available Travel and accommodations paid for.
