- Hours: 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Starting Wage: $22 per hour + $2 per hour

- Ability to perform various tasks in the designated area, including oven operation, mixing, line work, doboy, robot operation, and forklift operation.
- Ensuring adherence to product standards.
- Monitoring product quality and standards, making operational adjustments as needed to maintain the highest quality output possible.
- Supervising and guiding employees in task completion.
- Disassembly and assembly of equipment.
- Conducting cleaning procedures (such as CIPs) and equipment sanitation as necessary.
- Identifying and rectifying GMP/Safety violations.
- Supervising Mix personnel and timelines.
- Performing minor maintenance tasks.
- Addressing employee concerns and issues.
- May act as a backup for the Area Supervisor when required.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, following GMPs, maintaining sanitary conditions, and preserving product quality. Reporting any conditions or practices that may compromise food or personnel safety to management.
- Assuming responsibility for the Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
- Complying with all safety policies and procedures.
- Executing any other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Successful completion of a Powered Industrial Truck training program and forklift certification.
- One to three months of relevant experience or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Ability to write basic correspondence in English.
- Effective communication skills to present information to colleagues individually or in small groups.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a desirable skill.
- Aptitude for performing calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle various practical situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled form.

Location: Michael Foods, Inc. is situated in Gaylord, Minnesota, which is known as Minnesota's Healthy Heartland. Gaylord is strategically located in south central Minnesota, approximately an hour west of the Twin Cities and just 35 minutes away from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord serves as the central hub of Sibley County. Our facility specializes in the production of liquid egg, hard-cooked egg, and various precooked egg products such as scrambled eggs, patties, and omelets.
Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY: This role involves overseeing job assignments, providing support to Precooked line workers and operations within the department, and training new line workers and operators. Additionally, this position assists the shift supervisor in managing the Packaging Department.
