- Work to configure, populate, and sustain data mapping and vendor risk management capabilities within the OneTrust Privacy and Data Governance Platform under the direction of the Privacy Program Manager
- Build, update and maintain questionnaire templates and automation rules as needed to implement high quality and efficient enterprise-wide data mapping under the direction of the Privacy Program Mana
- Conduct compliance and control gap analysis across various risk management frameworks and multiple state and federal regulations (HIPAA, NYDFS Reg 500 and other cyber security regulations, consumer privacy laws, as well as emerging AI/algorithmic accountability requirements)
- Provide hands-on support for all phases (scoping/preparation, launch, and review/approval) of risk and impact assessments required for regulatory compliance as needed for privacy compliance or in collaboration with cybersecurity and enterprise risk management stakeholders.
- Work to align and automate risk management/compliance requirements across different but related regulations to drive increased efficiency and enhance auditability.
- Provide backup support to marketing privacy stakeholders with respect to maintenance of website/cookie compliance processes and technical controls.
- Troubleshoot issues from business and/ or technical teams regarding OneTrust assessments or other functionality.
- Prepare and maintain documentation needed to demonstrate compliance, as well as reference/guidance materials for various audiences.
- Know privacy, security and data protection principles and controls.
- Implement privacy requirements and controls in business-driven technology projects, preferably in a highly regulated industry such as insurance/financial services, healthcare or banking
- Work on application development, data management and/or solution architecture projects in an Agile environment.
- Operate autonomously or as part of a team in a highly organized way.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Show excellent judgment with the ability to discern when and how to call out issues.
- View detailed project plans and tactical requirements through a big picture lens
- Display exceptional social skills and ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at various levels
- Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of equivalent experience
- Certification or willingness to obtain at least one certification within one year of hire (CIPP-US, CIPP-PM, CIPP-EU, CIPP-T)
- Minimum 3 Years of directly related work experience
- Masters Degree/MBA in IT management or other technology related field; marketing/digital commerce
- Certifications/Licenses: CIPP-US, CIPP-PM, CIPP-EU and CIPP-T; CISSP; Certified Scrum Master

CNO Financial Group's Privacy Team is hiring a Privacy Specialist to support the continued development, operations and sustainment of processes and technologies used to manage privacy and data protection risk and compliance. This job will map data flows and business processes and implement program initiatives to ensure that appropriate privacy controls and processes are documented adopted and implemented across the CNO enterprise as needed to support a complex and dynamic regulatory landscape.

As a Privacy Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically.
Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
