Description
Media Technologist Printing (m/f/d) in MindenAs a media technologist printing, you will set up technically demanding, often computer-controlled high-performance machines, convert them and ensure a smooth production process. Once the printing machine is set up and the colors and printing material are coordinated, you will create test prints for approval by the customer. During the largely automated printing process, you will monitor the accuracy of the print and color dosage to ensure consistent high quality of the end product. Depending on the order, you will refine the finished printed sheets by laminating. After completing the order, you will clean the machine and check its function. You will learn the complex area of printing processing, i.e. control, measurement and control technology, and the finishing of printed products. After successfully completing your training, you will work with 2-3 employees on a printing machine, who will follow your instructions.
Training and Requirements
You have the best prerequisites if you have technical interest and understanding of machines and systems. The three-year training takes place in a dual system in the training company and in the responsible vocational school. Before starting your two-year training in our company, you need to have successfully completed the one-year vocational school (BFS) for printing and media technology.
