Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist for the Germany West Region at Milbridge. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first and second level support for various end devices such as laptops, desktops, printers, and barcode scanners. You will also be responsible for implementing standards set by the system and network engineering teams to support the plants in areas such as desktop, WAN, LAN, servers, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second level support for end user devices including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and barcode scanners
  • Assist the System and Network Engineering Teams and Service Desk with diagnostic support for desktops, WAN, LAN, and servers
  • Create and update work instructions for new and existing tasks, ensuring proper documentation and storage
  • Participate in global on-call rotation to support DP World plants and be available for on-call support within 10 minutes
  • Monitor emails for service desk alerts and resolve or escalate as needed
  • Provide change management support during weekends when on-call
  • Follow DP World's change, incident, and problem management processes and escalate issues to the Service Desk when necessary
