Esol Learning Facilitator, Part-time - Providence, United States - Genesis Center

Description

Genesis Center, a nonprofit organization whose mission is "to provide the highest quality education, job training, and support services to people of diverse cultures so that they may achieve economic independence and participate fully in society" is seeking a part-time Learning Facilitator for a Daytime ESOL class.

The Learning Facilitator will develop and implement a mission-driven, client-centered, and outcome-focused education curriculum that facilitates adult learners' goal attainment through classroom instruction.

Genesis Center's integrated program platform includes instruction in listening, speaking, reading, and writing and integrates technology, financial literacy, and work readiness into coursework to build English proficiency for non-native speakers.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The teaching schedule for this position is 7 weeks, in person, Monday to Thursday. Classes will be held at the 620 Potters Ave. location. Total pay includes time for lesson planning and administrative tasks for 8 hours/week + 4 hours prep.
