Position Overview:


Perform human resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources operations, employee relations, training, employment, labor relations and affirmative action.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for operational and technical personnel duties
  • Facilitate interview process
  • Ensure all preemployment screening processes are fulfilled
  • Responsible for maintenance of confidential personnel files, personnel actions, preparing
- recruitment lists and job postings

  • Employment verifications
  • Assist Manager with employee/personnel projects; training and benefits administration
  • Establish various reports and documents to provide current personnel information
  • Partner with employees and management to communicate various human resources
- policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.

  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data; make recommendations to the management
- team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

  • Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment
- allegations, and civil rights complaints.

  • Represent the company for any unemployment claims.
  • Facilitate and/or provide training (including orientation) to the workforce.
  • Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
  • Interview, screen, and recruit job applicants to fill entry level, professional, and technical
- job openings.

  • Maintain working relationship with union officials and adhere to terms of labor contract
- by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and
- working conditions.

  • Represent management in investigating, answering, and settling grievances, by arranging
- and scheduling grievance hearings between union personnel, supervisor and the
- management team.

  • Respond to all EEOC and/or NLRB charges.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Any other duties that may arise.

Special Skills:


  • The employee will have the ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex,
- difficult, and emotional issues. The employee will have the ability to research and analyze various types
- of data information. This employee must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures,
- regulation /or government law. This position requires the ability to organize and prioritize work.

Compensation:
$ $65.00 per year
