Specialty Administration Services, located in the Tampa, FL area, provides superb warranty contract and claims administration services to the heavy-duty truck and automotive industries.


We are currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialst to help support our claims team and our continued business growth.

The Customer Service Specialist has several roles in the operational side of the business.

To set up new claims and administer the claims according to the contractual obligation as set forth in the consumer agreement, while delivering professional service to both the dealer's personnel and the agreement holder in the adjudication of claims.

To raise awareness to management when a grey area issue is discovered that affects the customer and or dealer.

This position is Monday - Friday. Weekends off.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer complaints, provides appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follows up to ensure resolution.
  • Determines covered loss by reviewing agreements, interpreting coverage, and explaining coverage and processes.
  • Documents loss by obtaining cost/prices from repair facilities and authorizing covered losses.
  • Completes claim by investigating the facts and researching agreements with customers, repair facilities, and their representatives up to specified authority.
  • Seeks to negotiate a settlement of claims. Engages in basic quality assurance activities.

  • Bilingual (English, Spanish) a plus

Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 years customer service and automotive experience (Examples: Automotive/Diesel technician, Service Advisor, Service Writer, Parts Specialist)

Education:


  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Customer service training a plus

Pay:
From $42,000.00 per year
