    Access Control Technician at Digi Security Systems

    Position Overview

    We are in search of skilled Access Control Technicians with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be tasked with expertly installing security systems, supervising others during access control and CCTV installations in commercial settings.

    Compensation at Digi is based on skill level -

    Experienced Technicians: $25-27 /hour

    Lead Technicians (proficient in complete installations, assistant supervisors): $26-$29 /hour

    Project Leads (site supervisors with programming skills): $31-$35 /hour

    Main Responsibilities

    • Installation: Efficiently install cabling, access control components, CCTV systems, and motion/intrusion/alarm systems while upholding high industry standards and guiding the team to do the same.
    • Hand Tools and Inventory: Skillfully operate various tools, manage truck inventory, and maintain safety standards on-site.
    • Documentation: Enter computer programs as needed, and produce documentation for compliance and information sharing.
    • Communication: Collaborate with coworkers and Project Lead, documenting progress and key information.
    • Work Planning: Understand technical drawings, project documents, and work orders for efficient task completion.
    • Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication with the Project Coordinator, Branch Manager, and clients.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and differentiate colors
    • Comfort with extended standing and overhead work
    • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards
