Mid-Level Associate - Energy and Infrastructure

Location:
Washington, D.C.
Our client's Energy and Infrastructure team, based in Washington, DC, is seeking a Mid-Level Associate.

Representing clients on debt financings within the energy or infrastructure sector.
Conducting legal research using various resources, including the Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR platform, internal banking law practice group materials, and external sources relevant to energy and infrastructure project acquisitions, development, and financing.
Performing due diligence on financing, merger and acquisition, or project documents such as purchase and sale agreements, tax equity documents, construction contracts, operations and maintenance agreements, and supply or offtake agreements related to energy and infrastructure debt financings.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of closing deliverables, including good standing certificates, statecertified documents, and charter documents.
Drafting debt financing documents, leveraging precedent financing documents and templates from sources such as the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) or the Practical Law database.
Conducting due diligence specific to the U.S. Federal Government's Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) loan program.
Maintaining and updating checklists for client and affiliate financings.

Must be admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia. The firm may permit telecommuting or work-from-home arrangements in accordance with company policies.

Up to $435,000.00 per year
