The Supply Chain Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the oversight of direct inventory for the company.

They are responsible for leading the company's physical inventories and cycle count programs across all internal and external facilities including manufacturing plants, warehouses, vendors, and subcontractors.

They will collaborate with logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and finance to ensure proper controls are in place to mitigate financial risk.

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for managing the cycle count program for distribution centers and manufacturing facilities in the Benjamin Moore Network. This includes the generation and maintenance of cycle count calendars which will be created from ABC SKU level settings defined by sales volume.
  • Generate monthly reporting for ontime & accuracy metrics for the cycle count program. Reports will be distributed to the facility managers and inventory specialists.
  • Communicate Rolling 12month inventory accuracy metrics to the operations, planning and financial teams.
  • Organize the Spring and Fall full physical inventories. Facilitate timing and monitor activity during the events. Provide accuracy results to leadership team and generate a final summary of the event.
  • Drive improvement at the sites by identifying process gaps and use Pareto analysis to identify and track problematic materials
  • Perform inventory reconciliation to ensure raw materials are back flushed according to the Bill of Materials.
  • Periodically review Bill of Materials for tolled resin to ensure alignment with supply chain and product development.
  • Redesign cycle count program with third party vendors that house company owned inventory.
  • Provide assistance as needed with large projects or company initiatives that relate to inventory management

Examples:
SAP-related projects, facility changes in the network, inventory optimization across distribution centers.

  • Aid in the implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management system at the distribution sites, promote change management and integration with the cycle count program.
  • Review large inventory adjustments across the network and provide exception reporting to the finance & accounting teams.
