    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
    Ensures Exelon Nuclear EP program meets regulatory requirements. Ensures that Exelon is appropriately represented on industry project teams & working groups. Possesses superior knowledge of NRC & FEMA regulatory requirements & INPO guidance. Monitors and reports on current regulatory issues and determines actions and support needed for Emergency Preparedness regulatory compliance.

    Kennett Square, PA
    Warrenville, IL
    Coatesville, PA


    PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
    Assesses the impact of regulatory changes and initiatives on Exelon Nuclear programs, procedures, T&RMs, work practices, equipment and training.
    Develops action plans with tasks, owners, and due dates required to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and/or regulatory guidance.

    Provides in-depth technical expertise to coordinate and/or perform reviews of draft regulation and regulatory guidance and coordinate responses to the NRC through NEI and/or Exelon Nuclear Licensing.

    Acts as primary EP point of contact for site decommissioning activities.
    Coordinates EP representation on NEI & INPO taskforces and NRC Rulemaking meetings and activities.
    Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.

    Expected salary range of $135,000 to $150,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor's degree in technical field and a minimum of 10 years EP/Licensing experience and exceptional performance OR
    Associates Degree with 12 years industry experience, 5 of the 12 years must be at the exempt level and exceptional performance
    Approval of VP Fleet Support required to obtain this classification
    Sr. Emergency Preparedness Specialist


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


    Expected salary range of $106,200 to $118,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

    Bachelor&rsquos degree in technical field and 6 years industry experience OR
    Applicable Professional certification (i.e., Licensed Operator, CHP, CEM) and 6 years industry experience OR
    Associates Degree with 8 years industry experience, 3 of the 8 years must be at the exempt level.
