Description
Greet customers properly as they enter the service area.

  • Determine need for repairs by questioning customer about vehicle's performance, or by visual inspection of vehicle.
  • Estimate cost of repair and prepare itemized work order, listing costs of parts and labor.
  • Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
  • Communicating with customers daily, via our texting software, phone calls or in person to ensure they have updates regarding their vehicles.
  • May make minor adjustments or repairs.
  • Ensure repair orders are written/closed in a timely manner.
  • Close out repair orders as soon as work is completed and promptly notify customer of completed status.
  • Work in a cooperative and positive manner with all personnel.
  • Ensure CSI is above or meets minimum standards.
  • Maintain companies established minimum standards on labor and parts gross.
  • Conform to the company's policies on nondiscrimination and harassment.
  • Treat members of the public in a courteous and nondiscriminatory manner and maintains a professional demeanor while on the job.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Vehicles Driven or Moved as Part of the Job:

  • Customer's automobiles engine start-up and short test drives as required.
  • Moving new or used vehicles for customers
  • New and used car repositions on sales lots as required.
  • Other driving as assigned.

Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required:


  • Required employee provided safety items:
  • Leather topped rubber soled shoes.
  • Utilize required personal protective equipment at all times.

Physical Demands:


  • Standing: Intermittent, not to equal more than 60 % of the working day.
  • Walking: Intermittent, not to equal more than 20 % of the working day.
  • Sitting: Intermittent, not to equal more than 10 % of the working day.
  • Stooping (bending at the waist), kneeling (at knees) and crouching (at knee and waist): Infrequent activity, not equal to or more than 10 % of the working day.
