Dual Study Program Overview
Electronics technicians for automation technology (m/f/d) build complex automation systems, modify and expand them. They assemble and install components, configure and program the systems, test them and put them into operation.

During the course of the training, you will learn the following topics in our company:

  • Basics of electrical engineering
  • Programming of programmable logic controllers
  • Parameterization of electric drives
  • Planning and construction of industrial field bus systems or IT networks
  • Commissioning of systems on site and optimization of production processes
  • Creating and maintaining operational and technical documentation
  • Carrying out work while considering quality assurance, occupational safety, and environmental protection
Accompanied by the Electrical Engineering program at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld.

Timeline of the dual study program:
Duration 4 years

  • Completion of apprenticeship exam after 2 years
  • Bachelor's degree after 4 years
