    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    The purpose of this position is to direct and coordinate activities in the shipping department and includes training, mentoring and coaching to employees.

    Position Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Manage warehouse operations for proper inventory levels
    • Manpower review and placement
    • Communicate with customers
    • Monthly reporting of Department measureables
    • Conducts Coaching / Counseling sessions to resolve issues
    • Ensures Training/Rotations are Established and all Safety policies and procedures are followed
    • Enter Time Sheets of Subordinates and PTO
    • Perform Associate Evaluations in a Timely Manner
    • Other Duties as Assigned
    • Ability to perform essential and subordinate duties and responsibilities
    • Track Scrap Cost, and Present Preventive Ideas to Management
    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Minimum of 1 years related work experience
    • Basic level proficiency with PowerPoint, Windows, MS Word and MS Access
    • Intermediate level proficiency with Excel
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2-year College Degree in Business Administration, or Management
    • Problem Solving Training
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
    • Previous supervisory experience
