Description

We are seeking a Sandwich Cook to join our restaurant team and assist with daily sandwich preparation and kitchen tasks. In this position you will be responsible for creating delicious sandwiches according to recipes and customer orders, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Follow the sandwich prep list to plan and prepare ingredients for sandwich making.
Label and stock all sandwich ingredients for easy access and organization.
Measure and season ingredients to be used in sandwich preparation.
Prepare sandwich ingredients by slicing, chopping, and assembling fillings.
Assemble and prepare a variety of sandwich options according to customer orders.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of trash.
Ensure all sandwich ingredients and supplies are stored properly and securely.
Operate the Cash Register or perform other kitchen duties as assigned, such as washing dishes.

Skills:

Proven experience in sandwich preparation or a similar kitchen position.
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen environment.
Ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils with precision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently and stay positive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Good physical condition and endurance to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
