Summary

The Administrator - Logistics Operations Planning position will be responsible for initiating, analyzing, planning, implementing, and evaluating key projects that improve service quality, reduce cost, and increase efficiency.

Primary responsibilities will involve executing key initiatives that result in operational optimization, business improvement, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Process Optimization
Serve as a consultant to internal business units within the organization
Identify opportunities, analyze and optimize solutions, develop plans and implement improvements in business processes and practices
Evaluate data, audit current processes and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards, identify root cause and solve issues with stakeholders
Recommend feasible modifications to existing process standards for strategic optimization
Study key KPIs including profitability, efficiency and productivity involved in production, inventory or other operations need to establish standard production process
Strategically communicate with stakeholders to allocate existing resources for effective improvements
Participate in data collection and evaluation efforts at the logistics operation sites
Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes
Reporting & Analytics
Conduct various adhoc analysis at the request of project group leaders and assist with preparing statistics for executive leadership
Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality, efficiency and profitability
Provide insights derived from blended data.
Recreate existing MS excelbased models and develop new methods to visualize, present, and toggle data in Power BI dashboards and reports
Work with various departments to support Power BI development

Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication, critical thinking, planning and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills preferred
Advanced Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and database management required
Ability to logically and systematically work through problems
Must possess necessary interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with different departments along with current customers
Strong analytical skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree Required

Years of Direct Experience in Process Improvement and/or Business Analysis Required
Years of Direct Experiencein Supply Chain Management, Data Science, and/or Project Management Preferred

Training in Engineering, Science, and/or Data Analytics preferred
2 Years of Indirect Experience Preferred

Years of Supervisory Experience Preferred
