My Health Onsite manages employer sponsored health and wellness centers. Our medical team takes time to build strong relationships with our patients.No one is rushed in and out, and no one is a "number." Patients (ages 8 and up) may access a range of medical services including x-ray, onsite pharmacy, wellness services, and treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
Our programs go beyond caring for the sick and injured - we make prevention our number one goal.Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for assisting the HR Director with day-to-day operations of the HR Department to include benefits administration, leave of absences, workers compensation, training, and employee recognition programs.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8-hour shift -
not a remote position
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to new hire orientation, employee benefits, leave, recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, terminations and training and development
- Ensure employees are up to date with required licenses and certifications
- Maintain accurate and uptodate human resource files, records, and documentation
- Answer frequently asked questions from employees
- Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims
- Serve as point of contact for HR related vendors
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Maintains knowledge of trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of experience working in a Human Resources Generalist role
- PHR/SHRM-CP Certification
- Ability to travel between health centers (as necessary) 25%
- Experience with UKG Ready (preferred)
- Healthcare industry experience (preferred)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Excellent communication skills that will foster trust, clear vision, and mutual respect
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills, detail oriented is a must
- Ability to resolve employee, client and patient issues with a strong service mentality
