Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Self-starter, individual contributor with a passion for building technology solutions to solve complex business problems
  • Perform detailed analysis and create functional requirements specification document(s) to support business and project objectives. Deliverables include detailed user stories, project issue and dependency logs, and other artifacts as required
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand current state business processes, synthesize them to create process flow diagrams and other visual aids to facilitate solution design sessions
  • Work closely with the product owner to establish project objectives, goals, milestones, timelines and other project related activities
  • Comfortable performing analysis on large sets of data and deriving insights and inferences to inform business requirements
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with business and technology stakeholders across PWM
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross product teams to design integrated solutions for complex business problems
  • Develop an understanding of PWM's business functions, future strategic goals, and business challenges
  • Familiarity with wealth management technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop trusted relationships to achieve PWM objectives and goals
  • Ability to manage daytoday project activities including, projectlevel reporting; proactive identification of risks, dependencies and escalations as needed
  • Drive closure of project issues, risks and open items in a prompt manner

Qualifications:

  • 45 years of experience as a business analyst of technology projects. Financial Services industry experience and wealth management industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Powerpoint, Excel, Visio and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience working with wealth management technology platforms in areas such as reporting and trading highly valuable (for example, Envestnet | Tamarac, Fidelity and similar platforms).
  • Bachelor's degree valued or relevant experience as noted above
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies
  • Experience with requirements gathering and working with project team, vendors, business stakeholders and engineering to develop system design and solutions
  • Experience in working and delivering endtoend technology projects, including project management related activities
  • Superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level
  • Selfstarter, detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks
  • Organized ability to multitask
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Works cooperatively with others to accomplish objectives
  • Demonstrates initiative and persistence is selfmotivated
