Mechanical Engineer
Your Day-to-Day:
1. Display sufficient knowledge within engineering discipline to perform, with direct guidance, routine design, analysis, and evaluations of technical products and services and prepare appropriate supporting documentation.
2. Develop skills necessary to assume more independent assignments.
3. Work in a team environment with ability to lead a group of engineers and take direction from project managers.
4. Communicate with internal groups, customers, and vendors to obtain necessary information to complete work assignments.
5. Support manufacturing and field service during fabrication, assembly, and installation phases.
6. Solve routine technical problems.
7. Support the development and maintenance of cost competitive standardization.
8. Conduct and lead effective design and design for manufacturability reviews.
9. Perform resource/hour forecasting and tracking.
10. Identify and communicate areas for product/service improvements to management personnel.
11. Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and assist in implementation.
12. Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements.
13.Resolve Corrective Action issues asrequired and support process improvement efforts within department and company.
14. Display strong leadership skills.
15. Identify and assist in developing new business opportunities.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* 0-3 years Mechanical Engineering experience.
* Experience with 2D AutoCAD and 3D modeling in SolidWorks and Inventor preferred.
