    What you'll do:

  • Lead the Charge: You'll be the go-to person for our housekeeping and maintenance staff, providing clear direction, creating a positive work environment, and ensuring everyone is on the same page.
  • Maintain the Canopy Standard: From sparkling guest rooms to smoothly operating systems, you'll oversee all aspects of keeping our hotel in top condition.
  • Positive Guest Interactions: You'll play a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns and going the extra mile to create a memorable stay.
  • Be a Team Player: Collaboration is key You'll work closely with department leads to ensure seamless operations and support your team in achieving their goals.

    • Safety & Security:

    The safety and security of our guests and enthusiasts is of utmost importance to PM Hotel Group. Every PM Hotel Group enthusiast should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

  • The Operations Manager must be friendly, energizing, positive and caring in all core aspects of the Canopy culture as defined.
  • Previous experience as a Chief Engineer required with 3+ years in housekeeping preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required. College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with "Lifestyle/Luxury" aspects of hotel operations preferred
  • Skilled in several areas such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, dry walling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment.
  • Highly organized, result oriented with the ability to be flexible with hours, days off, assignments and additional duties
  • Must work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and handle conflicting priorities
  • Strong project management skills and ability to monitor vendor projects and workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially knowledge of OnQ Property Management System, Engineering/Maintenance work order system, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be a strong team player with proven leadership, development and delegating skills
  • Strong Financial Skills – ability to create and adhere to departmental budget
  • Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to): Walking and standing throughout shiftAbility to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift.Significant bending required.
