    Description

    As a member of the team, you'll be in charge of crafting the go-to-market strategy for Supermicro. This involves developing plans and initiatives to expand our business into new markets and customer segments by leveraging our channels and strategic partnerships. You'll play a key role in strategizing and executing to boost revenue generation. Collaboration across all levels of the organization is a must.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement winning strategies to acquire and retain customer accounts
    • Identify, qualify, and close sales to Government agencies, Data Centers/Cloud, Gaming, and HPC industries
    • Conduct outbound cold calls to potential System integrators, VARs, and OEM customers
    • Spot revenue opportunities with senior executives
    • Build a pipeline of short-term and long-term prospects in vertical markets
    • Manage inventory, pricing, orders, credit matters, and returns
    • Visit customers to showcase Super Micro's products and maintain account relationships
    • Oversee a sales team, provide guidance, training, and manage performance

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and MBA preferred
    • 10 years' experience in server sales preferred
    • Results-driven with a strong work ethic
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, executive presence, and judgment
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities
    • Proficiency in English, knowledge of a 2nd language is advantageous
    • Willingness to perform administrative tasks as required
    • Up to 15% travel may be necessary

    Please be aware that regular in-office work is a requirement for this position. The successful candidate must be present during standard working hours for office collaboration, team meetings, training, and other activities. Applicants should anticipate commuting to the designated office location.

    Salary Range:

    $171,000 - $230,000

    The salary offered will be based on various factors such as location, level, education, skills, experience, and internal comparisons. Candidates may also qualify for bonuses and equity awards.
