Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team.

As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately coding and billing medical claims, ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies and patients.

Your role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of our medical practice.


Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information
  • Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD10, ICD9, DRG) to diagnoses and procedures
  • Prepare and submit electronic or paper claims to insurance companies
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resubmit as necessary
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues or discrepancies
  • Process payments from insurance companies and patients
  • Maintain accurate records of billing activities and financial transactions
  • Stay updated on industry changes in medical billing and coding systems Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of medical terminology, billing, coding, and collection processes
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices
  • Proficient in using medical billing software and electronic health record systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Effective communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Types:

$ $20.00 per hour
