Areas of application and tasks:
The dual Bachelor's degree in Production Technology combines the advantages of practical training and a university degree. After three and a half years, it leads to a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.).

In parallel with the first stage of studies, a two-year technical or commercial training takes place, which culminates in an IHK qualification.

If a completed training is already available, the degree can also be completed without further vocational training.


The dual degree program in Production Technology comprehensively teaches the basics of mechanical engineering with a special focus on production technology, production equipment, and production logistics.

Graduates possess a broad, industry-independent qualification to work on production-related topics in various company areas and industries. In addition, graduates are in high demand in research, development, and engineering offices.
