    Job Description Job Title:
    Buyer Transformer OEM


    Overview:
    Looking for a dynamic and experienced Buyer to join our Supply Chain Management team. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing supplies for power transformers. This position is crucial to the organization.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and manage supplier performance and scorecard systems.
    Drive improvements in top spend categories to support supply chain productivity goals.
    Implement strategic sourcing supply agreements.
    Negotiate with suppliers on price, terms, conditions, and lead time.
    Manage all aspects of assigned commodities and assist with other commodities as needed.
    Manage total acquisition cost for respective suppliers through negotiation, process changes, and re-sourcing.
    Participate in and lead Kaizen events to support continuous improvement initiatives.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
    2 to 5 years of experience working for a transformer OEM in the supply chain.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write procedures and provide training.
    Must have previous experience sourcing for an OEM of transformers.
