    Job Title: Senior Buyer

    Location: Southwest Houston. Near Stafford / Sugar Land

    Magnum Staffing Services is currently hiring a Senior Buyer to become part of a dynamic team. This opportunity is at a prominent manufacturer specializing in critical remote power supplies, renowned for their dedication to quality and innovation.

    • The Buyer position works directly with the Materials Director and entails daily management and execution of procurement activities.

    Job Description: As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Identifying and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
    • Negotiating contracts and improving terms of business.
    • Managing supplier relationships and evaluating supplier performance.
    • Conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
    • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or buying in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, Proficient in supply chain management software and MS Office.
