Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Benefits Specialist, your main duties will involve:

Handling day-to-day employee benefit tasks, such as addressing queries, establishing processes for new hires and open enrollment, managing qualifying event adjustments, and overseeing beneficiary selections and terminations.
Supervising and executing leave of absence programs like parental leave, FMLA, short/long-term disability, and workers' compensation. Ensuring leave eligibility and appropriate return-to-work procedures.
Planning and executing employee gatherings and acknowledgment events to nurture a positive workplace atmosphere.
Creating, acquiring, delivering, and monitoring various employee training initiatives.
Aiding in reviewing, developing, and revising employee communications, policies, manuals, and different plan records.
Organizing employee acknowledgment programs and carrying out employee surveys.

Skill Set/Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, from an accredited institute.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medium-sized organization.
Robust knowledge and demonstrated expertise in managing and ensuring compliance of benefit schemes (health, welfare, retirement).
Experience in coordinating and conducting training programs.
Prior recruitment exposure is a plus.
Familiarity with Paylocity and Deltek Vision or VantagePoint is advantageous.
