    Description

    Primary Responsibilities:

    As a Senior Benefits Specialist, your main duties will involve:

    • Handling day-to-day employee benefit tasks, such as addressing queries, establishing processes for new hires and open enrollment, managing qualifying event adjustments, and overseeing beneficiary selections and terminations.
    • Supervising and executing leave of absence programs like parental leave, FMLA, short/long-term disability, and workers' compensation. Ensuring leave eligibility and appropriate return-to-work procedures.
    • Planning and executing employee gatherings and acknowledgment events to nurture a positive workplace atmosphere.
    • Creating, acquiring, delivering, and monitoring various employee training initiatives.
    • Aiding in reviewing, developing, and revising employee communications, policies, manuals, and different plan records.
    • Organizing employee acknowledgment programs and carrying out employee surveys.

    Skill Set/Requirements:

    • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, from an accredited institute.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medium-sized organization.
    • Robust knowledge and demonstrated expertise in managing and ensuring compliance of benefit schemes (health, welfare, retirement).
    • Experience in coordinating and conducting training programs.
    • Prior recruitment exposure is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Paylocity and Deltek Vision or VantagePoint is advantageous.
